Governance
Registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 (Reg. No. DRB1/SOR/29/2025-2026, dated 21 April 2025), BUEAA is governed by a President, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretaries and up to 25 Executive Committee members.

Official Registration Granted
BUEAA was registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 (Reg. No. DRB1/SOR/29/2025-2026) as a General Class society.
National Teacher Awardee
Dr. S. R. Keshava, President of BUEAA, was conferred the Government of India Ministry of Education's National Teacher Awardee 2024.
BUEAA® Inauguration
A milestone occasion — the formal inauguration of the Bangalore University Economics Alumni Association coincides with the National Seminar on 25 July 2026.
Website Launch
Alongside its inauguration, BUEAA launches this official website to connect alumni, publish research and coordinate seminars nationwide.
Publication & Registration
Peer-Reviewed Journal
Selected seminar papers will be published in a reputed peer-reviewed journal bearing an ISSN Number.
Publication Charges
Includes registration for accepted papers. Additional co-authors register separately.
Registration Fee
Includes seminar kit, lunch, high tea and a participation certificate. OOD facility available.

Open to any person above 18 years who has completed MA, M.Phil, PhD or Post-Doc in Economics from the Bangalore University Department of Economics, or BU's former PG Centre, Kolar.
